Hatchers Solicitors were clear winners in the recent Shropshire Chamber Trivia Thursday charity quiz, held at The Shrewsbury Club. The event raised £282.10 for the Lingen Davies Cancer Appeal charity based in Shrewsbury. Quiz master for the evening was Graham Mills of Nick Jones Wealth Planning, who said: “It was a well supported and surprisingly competitive event with great banter between the opposing teams, entered from a wide variety of businesses right across the county, and we are very grateful for their continued support.” Hatchers Solicitors partner and winning team captain, Val Edwards, added: “The Lingen Davies Appeal is very close to the hearts of several people here at Hatchers Solicitors, so we were determined to do well and obviously hand-picked a great team who duly took the honours in style, much to the light-hearted dismay of our fellow chamber members and competitors! all of whom however were only too pleased to be able to support this wonderful charity and help raise the profile of such a very worthy cause.” Pictured are, from left, winning team members Emma Cross, Sam Dorricott, Kate Cooper, Graham Mills from Nick Jones Wealth Planning, Teresa Rowe from Shropshire Chamber, and Val Edwards.
