Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Executive– Welsh Bridge office (part time hours to be considered)

    The Role

    We are seeking an experienced fee earner to strengthen our busy and well established Dispute Resolution Team based at our Welsh Bridge office.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work on a mixed caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters including:

    • Commercial contract disputes
    • Director and shareholder disputes
    • Property and land disputes
    • Landlord and tenant disputes
    • Inheritance and Estate Claims
    • Insurance disputes
    • Consumer disputes
    • Professional Negligence Claims
    • Intellectual Property

    We require a candidate with sound technical skills who can carry out the following whist maintaining a high standard of client care:

    • Take instructions and advise clients
    • Draft pre-action correspondence
    • Draft court applications and pleadings
    • Handle disclosure
    • Instruct Counsel
    • Prepare witness statements
    • Attend procedural hearings
    • Undertake mediation and conciliation meetings

    The candidate

    A Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of one year PQE in a similar role, you will be proactive with an organised and detailed approach at all times.

    You will have excellent communication skills and be a real team player who is happy to help and support colleagues when needed.  A passion or flair for business development and networking would be an advantage.

    Client Services Adviser – Part Time (2/3 days per week)

      The Role

      We are seeking an experienced individual to take on this interesting and varied role which will include:

      • Managing complaints from receipt to conclusion, working closely with teams to ensure the best possible solution/settlement;
      • Implementing and managing a process to ensure that all aspects of client care are monitored and continuously improved;
      • Maintaining accurate and up to date records and producing reports when required

      Whilst you will work closely with the firm’s Compliance Partner, this is a standalone role and the ideal candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative with very minimal supervision.

      The candidate

      • Educated to degree level or equivalent
      • Previous experience in client or customer care/support – legal background would be an advantage but is not essential for this role
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability work comfortably with many task, often to tight and challenging deadlines
      • Empathetic and supportive yet effective approach

      Apprentice Receptionist/Administration Support – Full Time (Working towards NVQ Level 2) 12 month fixed term contract

        Whitchurch office

        We are looking for a well presented and self motivated individual to fulfil this varied and interesting role.

        As Receptionist/Administration Support you will be based front of house, answering calls and meeting and greeting clients as well as providing secretarial and administrative support.

        You will be enthusiastic with a flexible and helpful attitude and excellent communication skills. Previous administration or secretarial experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be provided.   You will also be experienced in dealing with members of the public and providing high standards of customer service.  Previous experience using Microsoft Office would be an advantage
