Wills and Probate Solicitor/FILEX (full time)

    Welsh Bridge Office, Shrewsbury

    We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least three years relevant PQE to expand our busy Wills and Probate Team.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established team providing legal services to clients across all three of our offices.

    The successful candidate will be confident in seeing matters through from initial instruction to post completion using a Case Management System.  The role involves supporting others with existing matters as well as being proactive in developing your own caseload.

    You will be required to advise on a wide range of matters to include Wills, Probate, Estate Management and Administration of Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.

    You will also enjoy taking part in networking and business development activities.

    Criminal Solicitor with Duty Solicitor Status (full time)

      Welsh Bridge Office, Shrewsbury

      We are seeking an experience qualified Duty Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE to join our small but busy Crime Team which handles the full spectrum of criminal law matters funded both privately and publically.

      The successful candidate will be technically strong and confident dealing with matters from initial instructions up to and including advocacy.   Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential as well a flexible attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

      Higher Rights qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

      Experience of using a Legal Case Management system and digital dictation would be an advantage but not essential.

      Employment and Business Law Paralegal (full time)

        Welsh Bridge Office, Shrewsbury

        An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our well established Employment and Business Law Team.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in similar, or Legal Secretarial role.

        This is a varied and interesting role which will include taking initial instructions, providing transactional support for the team as well as liaising with clients, administrative and typing support and diary management.

        The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a busy team setting and have strong organisation and communication skills.

        Experience of using a Legal Case Management system and digital dictation would be an advantage but not essential.

        Business and Administration Apprentice (working towards NVQ Level 2 –initially fixed term for 12 months

          Welsh Bridge Office, Shrewsbury

           We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our busy Commercial Property Team.

          This is a varied and busy role involving a wide range of administrative and secretarial duties.  You will have a flexible attitude, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative when required.

          Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Outlook and Excel) would be an advantage.

          This is a full time apprenticeship initially on a fixed term contract for 12 months with the possibility of full time employment upon completion.
