Bill is a Consultant Solicitor at Hatchers and works with Nigel Harrison who is head of the firm's Employment Law team. He qualified in 1973 and during his career has mainly dealt with contentious work (high worth personal Injury, clinical negligence and civil cases) and employment law. For over 20 years, the bulk of his work came from insurance companies. During this time, he gained a valuable insight into way insurance companies work and so has been able to use this knowledge to the advantage of the private clients whose cases he has since dealt with.
He now concentrates entirely on employment law accepting instructions mainly from corporate employers (several with over 100 employees) but also from private clients.
He was the Managing Partner of a Shropshire based legal practice for over 15 years until he recently retired from the partnership and has wide experience of dealing with legal matters particularly from an employer's perspective.
Bill is a member of the Shrewsbury Darwin Rotary Club. In his spare time he enjoys underwater hockey, scuba diving, walking and D-I-Y.
