Vanessa was admitted as Member of the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) at the end of 2006 following her exam success at Radbrook College in Shrewsbury (where she also won second prize in the Student of the Year awards, presented by the Shropshire Law Society). She is continuing her studies and is currently studying towards the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law on a part time basis. Vanessa will qualify as a Solicitor in 2012.
Outside work, when Vanessa is not studying, she enjoys spending time with friends and is currently helping her Partner, Tom to renovate their first home together.
