Vanessa was admitted as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) at the end of 2006 following her exam success at Radbrook College in Shrewsbury (where she also won second prize in the Student of the Year awards, presented by the Shropshire Law Society). She is continuing her studies and is currently studying towards the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law on a part time basis whilst completing her Training Contract with Hatchers. Vanessa will qualify as a Solicitor in March 2012.
Vanessa is currently vice-chair for the Shropshire Junior Lawyers Division and has been involved in starting the Montgomeryshire Young Professionals Group (MYPG) which aims to get young professionals in the area together to get to know one another in an informal setting - http://www.mypg.org.uk/
When Vanessa is not studying, she enjoys spending time with friends, making jewellery and helping her partner, Tom to renovate their first home together in Mid-Wales.
