Val specialises in commercial conveyancing, especially for property developers (both residential and commercial).
Val finally completed her legal exams in 1999, being admitted as a solicitor in 2000.
Val and 7 generations of her family have lived in the same small village in Shropshire, although she spent part of her youth living in Lyon, France.
She has three grown up children and is heavily involved with the Mounted Games Association of Great Britain. Val spends many weekends looking after the ponies and is currently aiming for the sport to become recognised by the Olympics.
An interesting fact - Val and her pony appeared as extras on Crossroads - since then she has had a secret ambition to be an actress - preferably like Judy Dench!
