Brought up in Berkshire, Matthew studied law at Cardiff University before pursuing a career as a solicitor in private practice. Matthew joined Hatchers in 2007, and has lived in Shrewsbury for a number of years.

A keen sportsman, Matthew regularly plays football and (not so regularly) has a round of golf, plays badminton, goes cycling or does anything else that sounds interesting. He has on occasion also been known to socialise with friends and family.
