Staff at Hatchers Solicitors have raised over £350 with a sponsored slim in aid of Children In Need. The staff who were weighed in on the 17th October were sponsored by the partners in the firm who agreed to match the lbs in weight loss for £s in money.
A massive 89lbs were lost by staff by the 18th November. The rest of the money was made up by contributions for an excellent lunch, cakes for sales and raffles.
Lindsey Walker and Alwyn Thomas who were behind the sponsored slim have organised many events for different charities over the last year raising over £1,000.
Lindsey said:
“We are very committed to helping a number of local and national charities. It’s not only a great way of raising money with fun events but it also brings the staff together. We are delighted with the amount of weight lost and money raised.”
