Hatchers have opened up brand new offices with a ‘high-street’ look in the centre of Shrewsbury. Our new premises at 25 Castle Street are in addition to our established offices at that location and at Park House, Park Plaza, Battlefield (where our Commercial Services teams are based).
The expansion is a result of a significant growth in business and our decision to increase our town centre presence was based on a survey of Shrewsbury residents which we commissioned. Hatchers asked what people valued most in a solicitor and 73 per cent of people surveyed said it was ‘very important’ or ‘important’ for a solicitor to have offices within or close to town; 87 per cent said it was ‘very important’ or ‘important’ for a solicitor to have a reputation for being ‘friendly and approachable’.
We decided to listen to people’s preferences and have kept our private customer legal services (residential property, wills & probate, family, litigation and criminal defence) in the town centre. Located just along from Shrewsbury Castle, a short walk from the railway and bus stations and with dedicated parking to the rear and disabled facilities, our modern and comfortable new offices have been professionally designed specifically with our customers in mind.
As for our survey’s findings that the legal profession can appear unapproachable, you won’t find any stuffed shirts at Hatchers – just friendly, helpful professionals.
